**I'm still planning on going private but got pushed back a bit while I figure out the logistics---so I figured I'd throw a few posts up**
I can't believe January is over all ready. Yikes. It's been jam-packed per usual. The kids started basketball which we added to indoor soccer {Cole}, hockey {Cole}, swim {Ava & Cole}, and gymnastics {Ava}. We fill up the kiddos schedule in the winter because it can be a looooong winter when they can't just head outside for the afternoon and burn off all that energy. I like my children utterly exhausted at the end of the day.

Uncle Rich & Aunt Megan sent the kiddos gift cards to Jeff Kinney's store, An Unlikely Story, for Christmas. They were so excited to check the place out and pick out a bunch of new books. The store & cafe is super cute and a big hit with everyone.
Logan snuck up to Cole's top bunk to sleep with him one night. Don't they look so cute and innocent when they are sleeping?
Logan got his first hair cut and officially got his spot for preschool in the fall. I'm not sure when this little baby started growing up but it's making me so sad.
I took Logan to one of our favorite children's museums for a special birthday trip. He was so excited and over the moon about the entire room dedicated to trains.
Our sweet little guy turned TWO!
and we celebrated with all things construction, trucks & dirt.
Logan loved preschool open house. I can't believe it's time for him to go now but I think he'll love it. He's growing too fast.
Ava's really enjoying gymnastics again. I was watching her do her conditioning the other day and thinking that I do not miss that at all.
Our other sweet boy turned SIX. Gah. It's was Cole's turn to be embarrassed at pick up with his birthday balloon. Of course the first balloon we picked up had a hole and lost air by the time we got halfway home. So back we went for a shiny new one. Cole thought it was awesome at pick up when the doors of the van opened and there was his balloon.
I can't believe he's SIX! We celebrated with a little space party and will celebrate with his friends for his half birthday.
The basement remodel is officially underway! I'm so so excited to see it done and fingers crossed it's done before baby is here so we can actually get settled and organized. I am just a smidge overly excited for another bathroom and a laundry room---not to mention a place for all the toys!
Logan LOVES his trucks---especially his dump truck and will excitedly show them off to anyone we see while out.
Except he can't yet pronounce "dump truck".
I'm sure 90% of the people we see think my 2 year old is calling them a "dum fuck".
We may or may not have been taking advantage of some of the great Container Store sales. Logan's very favorite part is the automatic trashcan which means he'd be playing with it if it ever made it's way into our house.
filed under: mommy just needed a two minute shower
Logan loves his baby and gives kisses to my belly all the time. We'll see what happens when she actually gets here but for now he especially loves using my bump as a great hill for his cars.
Cole drew this sweet picture of him and I saying "I love you" to each other.
