This blogger app is definitely getting put to good use although I still have a few more posts in draft form I'll get to some day. :)
Ava wanted to get her haircut and has this new habit of sometimes chewing on her hair (ew) so I was more than happy to take her. She got a little more cut off than I anticipated but we really like it. She looks SO old to me now. I'm so not ok with her growing up so fast! She spent a good 10 minutes looking at herself in the mirror smiling so I think she likes it!
The swingset finally has a rockwall! A big thanks to papa who built one for the kiddies. Ava loves it but Cole isn't too sure about it yet---I'd give him a week before he's scaling the wall. :)
We had some amazing weather here last week. We even had record setting temps up into the 80s---it's funny how a few weeks ago we had snow. Definitely crazy New England weather but we loved it. We played outside every night until it got dark and even brought out the water table a few times. The kids were big fans & we're counting down the days until school is out for summer {53 days! and 14 school days until vacation---love}

Cole loves filling his trucks with rocks and dumping them all over the yard---daddy's not a fan :)
Temps are back now to regular spring-like temps but we loves that little taste of summer!
I'm trying out this whole blogging-from-my-iPhone thing. Since a ton of photos are on my phone this could be a good thing! We'll see how it goes!
Sunday brought lots of sun & springlike temps and we loved it! Cole was feeling better and we spent the day outside. The kids {and our house} were filthy from being out all day. I always say dirty kids are a sign of a good time :)

Since Cole was sick Ava asked if we could go get some flowers to make him feel better. I took her to Home Depot and she picked up these blue ones because "blue is Cole's favorite color" It was so sweet. She does a great job

I found Cole in the garage in the wagon under a table---apparently
he wanted a ride so off we went. I tried to hitch a ride on the way back but someone wasn't having it :)

Poor Cole had been fighting Ava's nasty cold all week. He woke up last Friday {right after the doctor closed---of course!} and screamed for 45 minutes pulling on his ears. Poor boy wanted to snuggle but couldn't get cozy and just cried. I finally got him take some motrin and we found a comfy spot to snuggle. Steve & I traded off taking Cole all night. No shocker that the dr found a double ear infection. Cole slept a lot of the weekend but is definitely so much better now. He did manage to have some fun outside but enjoyed snuggling on mama's side of the bed for a good part of the weekend:
